  • welcome to ledvina photography

Hi, I'm Joe Ledvina, a portrait and wedding photographer in Hillsboro, New Hampshire.

Welcome to my blog.  Here you will see everything from some of my client shoots to my day to day ongoings with my wife, Brandy, and our children, Nate, Maddie and Lexi.  And oh yeah, every now and again our dogs, Starsky and Max, may show up for their time in the spotlight too!

We are looking forward to a healthy and happy 2010 and we hope that you can join in with us!

Thanks again for stopping by and come back often as I hope to update this page about once a week. I hope you leave a comment if you like what you see or just want to say hi!

The kids visit to Keene State…

While in Keene earlier today we brought out the whole crew for a quick photo shoot since it was almost 50 degrees and sunny (anyone dare say Spring yet?)…it was a great day out and there are a lot of favorites in this mix.  This is also going to be the largest post (image count wise) I have ever done too!  Enjoy and talk to you soon – we have some important info to share tomorrow!!

One last snowstorm of the year…

As we approach what looks to be a nice warm weekend (OK – so it will be between 40 and 50 degrees – but that qualifies as warm in March:-)), I figured I would throw a quick set of shots from this past weekend after what may be the last snow of the season.  The storm left us with the trees covered and full of snow which made for some nice captures – hope you enjoy them!  I even threw in a comparison shot – this storms remains versus last fall in the same spot…what a difference a few months can make huh?

Smile like a crocodile…

I have a habit of driving down roads that most people wouldn’t…maybe they are too rough for some, the mud too deep for others or it is just one of those roads that people have no want to go down…

So, while on one of those roads I came across something a tree that was brought down in the ice storms a while back that someone had decided to repurpose into their own piece of art.  I could not help but snap a few shots to share with everyone.

Note:  I promise, no stuffed animals were harmed (at least not by me) during the shoot – everything is exactly how I found it and left it…:-)

Below are a few more shots of the croc along with a few others thrown in for good measure.

Have a great night everyone!

…sunset…

As I drove home tonight I could not help but snap a quick shot of the sun setting behind Mt. Monadnock.

Have a great night!

A new tool has been added to the toolbox!

Well, after lusting after this for so long it was finally time to make the plunge!  I am extremely happy to announce that the Canon 5D MarkII is now the newest (and what is soon to be the most utilized) tool in the Ledvina Photography toolbox!  I’ve only had it opened up for the last couple of hours but everything I have tried and played with so far has really amazed me.

Here are  few shots from today – I am sure there are going to be many more to follow…:-)

Take care all – have a great night!
