Once or twice a year there is a chance of what is called a Wolf Moon. The cause of this is that perigee (the point at which the moon reaches this closest point to Earth) coincides with a full moon making the moon bigger and brighter than any other full moons during the year. Well, tonight was the night and since it was so cold (about 5˚ F with a windchill closer to -15˚ F) the sky was perfectly clear.
